01/19/18 - 03/23/18 (7 weeks)

Each week, students will explore a different science theme and participate in fun, related experiments and projects. We will learn about earth science, physics, and chemistry. Students will follow the scientific method of prediction, experimentation, observation, and drawing a conclusion. Each theme is introduced through a story, song, or game. Science experiments will include:

  • making your own slime, lava lamp, or volcano;

  • learning about the difference between wet ice and dry ice;

  • creating clouds, rain, or snow as students discover how to recognize weather patterns;

  • mixing up your own spa products, including soaps, bath salts, and sugar scrubs.
